As CTBC started spring semester in March, we have had a guest, Ms. Chloe Lim, Manager of Recruitment and Development from International Office, University of Essex, visited our campus accompanied by the Director of CTBC International Affairs Center, Ms. Victoria Chang, as the two had been pushing for a partnership between the two institutions.
The University of Essex is a public research university in Essex, England. It was established in 1963, Essex's largest campus is the Colchester Campus within Wivenhoe Park, and there are also two campuses in Southend, and Loughton Campus. Essex has produced many notable alumni in several fields, including two Nobel laureates, a head of state, foreign ministers, MPs, scientists, artists, and politicians.
Performing the discussion over the meeting, both have implanted the mutual agreement on the student exchange, and CTBC students have shown a great interest to know more about the program. Seeing students paving their ways for their next stage lets us know it’s worthy putting more effort on looking for more alternative learning paths to CTBC students.
